Tableau is a data visualisation and analytics tool that transforms raw data into interactive charts and dashboards. Non-profits use it to analyse impact data, donor trends or survey results and present insights clearly to stakeholders.

Free licenses for non-profits
Non-profits can apply for Tableau's non-profit program to receive free Tableau Desktop licences, enabling them to visualise and analyse data to drive impact.
How to apply:
- Visit the Tableau Foundation Licence Donations page
- Click “Request donated licences” and complete the application form with your organisation's details
- Provide proof of your nonprofit status, such as a charity registration certificate
- Once verified (typically within 14 business days), Tableau will provide access to the donated licences and notify you by email
Note: Eligible organisations must be officially recognised as tax-exempt in their country, operate with an annual budget under $5 million, and not be a school, college, healthcare organisation, government agency, or religious organisation incorporated exclusively for the promotion of religion.
